Boys vs Girls

I like it when Foma lets me and Tapper play by ourselves. Tapper doesn't like to play with toys once they stop moving.  That's ok cus I get to play with it more.  Foma let us boys play ball and we were having fun.

Then Foma let the girls play too.

Need I say more? :-(

Foma, can Tapper and I have another ball, please?

I like toys

Now that I know what they are, that is.  When Foma first let me have a look around the house, I picked up everything.  It was all so new and I wanted to know what absolutely everything was.  When I was finally allowed in Foma's room there were lots of places to sniff around in.  I got stuck in a few of them.  I picked up everything that I could to see if it was good to play with or maybe eat.  There were stuff toys and hard toys and I wanted to play with all of them.  Each morning Foma set out a fresh stuff toy on her bed and I would play with that too.  Now I know those are socks and Foma says I shouldn't play with them.  How was I suppose to know it wasn't a new toy just for me.

I'm so much better now at finding things that are meant for us pups to play with.  I don't have to wear my muzzle any more and toys are even more fun.

I've been called a 'stuffy killer' but I'm pretty sure they mean it in a good way.  I'm careful to check every toy to see if there is fluffy stuff inside.  If I find it, I pulled it out so everyone knows it was hiding in there.  Foma is teaching me to be 'gentle' which I think means that I should take my time finding the fluffy stuff.  Each time I find the fluffy stuff, she takes it away and replaces it with a new one for testing.  Anyway, I'm having tons of fun!

You say you've got toys that might have fluffy stuff inside?  Let the folks at GEGR know that you need my services and I'll be glad to help.

Allow me to introduce myself.

Hi I'm Luke.

I'm a 2.5 year old handsome male.

My first couple of weeks have been a bit hectic.  I finally got my foster mom (Foma) to give me some time on the laptop thingy so I can tell everyone what I've been up to.
Well I traveled to VA from FL on a truck with other pups all headed to find our forever homes.  I spent a few days in a foster home in MD but I was a little too friendly with one of their cats.  Seems I don't know my own size.  No worries. My new Foma doesn't have any cats.  I have a foster brother and sister and they are just about my size.  They are really nice to me and are showing me the robes.  They said I have to learn a lot so I can be ready for my forever family.
My first lesson was learning which crate was mine.  I got that down quickly.  When its time to eat I run right in and wait nicely for my bowl to show up.  My Foma says I shouldn't sing for my supper; something about it not being polite.  I think she doesn't appreciate my singing.  I'm really good at sleeping in my crate during the day while everyone is gone.  No accidents for me.

Foma says I can get on here and tell you all about what I'm learning and the fun I'm having in my foster home.  I really hope you come back to read all about it.  If you decide that you would like to have a handsome brindle boy in your life, be sure to fill out one of those applications.  You can find it at the top of this page.  Tell the folks at GEGR that you want to meet Luke, that's me.  Gotta go. Its nap time.
